04 — Questions
Before you buy
- Is there a subscription?
- No. There is no recurring plan and no monthly fee. Every account gets a one-time free allowance, and beyond it you buy prepaid credit packs as you need them.
- Do credits expire?
- No. Purchased read, scan, icon and Guard credits never expire. The free allowance is a separate, one-time grant that is not replenished.
- Are the four credit types interchangeable?
- No. Reads, scans, icon generations and Guard analyses are bought and tracked as separate pools, so you top up only the one you use.
- What happens when a pool runs out?
- Requests of that type are refused with a message pointing at the billing page. Every other pool keeps working.
- How do I get an API key?
- Create a free account and generate a key at dojo.extenshi.io/api-keys. The same key works across the catalog API, the MCP server and the CLI.
- In what currency am I billed?
- All packs are billed in USD through Stripe as one-time payments. No card is stored by Extenshi.
- Can I use a promo code?
- Yes. Enter it in the promo code field on the Stripe checkout page and the discount is applied before you pay. Codes are issued for launches and campaigns and each has its own expiry.
