Installed, butnever seen again

Chrome hides new extensions behind the puzzle icon. Until a user pins yours, every session starts with them hunting for it — so most installs never become a visible click. This generates the illustrated steps that fix it.

Three steps

Name it, drop in your icon, ship the page

1

Name your extension

It gets drawn into the mocked menu, so users match it against their own screen.

2

Add your icon

Upload it, or let us pull the one already on your store listing. No icon yet? Generate one first.

3

Download one HTML file

Host it anywhere — or open it right after install from your background script.

Pin Study Timer to your toolbar 📌

It takes five seconds, and you never have to hunt for it again.

What you get

A guide people actually follow

The step everyone misses

Opening the menu is not the same as pinning. The pin toggle gets its own frame, because that is where users stall.

Markers, not guesswork

Numbered badges sit on the exact control to click, positioned in percentages so they stay on target at any screen width.

Your icon, not a generic square

The guide only works if the icon in the picture is the one they are hunting for. We use your store artwork, or an icon you upload.

Chrome, Edge and Firefox

Firefox has no puzzle icon, so it gets its own wording and artwork instead of a Chrome screenshot that misleads.

One file, no dependencies

Inline styles, illustrations embedded, no scripts and no external requests. It opens straight from disk and works on any host.

Nothing leaves your browser

The generator needs no account and uploads nothing — your icon is embedded straight into the file you download.

Going further

Or make it a full welcome page

The same guide drops into a hosted welcome page that opens automatically on install — with your own text and illustrations around it, and a count of confirmed installs by version and browser. Prefer your own site? Point it at your URL and the installs still get counted.

An unpinned extension is an unused extension.

Build the illustrated steps in a couple of minutes, download one file, and stop losing installs to a hidden toolbar menu.
