This extension overrides the New Tab page (chrome_url_overrides: newtab) as the knowledge-base entry — a core feature. This is now clearly disclosed in the store description. Users can restore the default New Tab page by disabling/removing the extension. It does not change the homepage, default search engine, or any other settings.
